General Policy

At Classic Hardware, we aim to provide high-quality hardware, plumbing, and construction materials to all our customers. Every product is checked carefully before dispatch, and we ensure accurate billing and packaging. However, if you experience any issue with your order, we offer a simple and transparent return and refund process as outlined below.

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted only under specific conditions where the product delivered is incorrect, damaged, defective, or does not match the order details. Products must be returned in unused condition, along with their original packaging, labels, and invoice. Items that show signs of use, damage caused after delivery, or missing components may not be eligible for return. Some categories, such as pipes cut to size, Rcc Pipes and chember , custom fittings, or special-order items, may not be returnable.

Return Timeframe

Customers must notify us of any issue within 48 hours of receiving the product. Requests made after this period may not be accepted, as product conditions can no longer be verified. Once a return request is approved, customers must arrange to return the product to our store or follow the instructions provided for pickup, depending on availability.

Inspection Process

After receiving the returned item, our team will inspect the product to confirm its condition and verify the customer’s claim. This inspection helps ensure fairness to all customers and prevents misuse of return services. Once the inspection is completed, we will notify you about the status of your return approval or rejection.

Refund Policy

If the return is approved, the refund will be processed through the original mode of payment or as store credit, depending on customer preference and availability. Refunds may take 3–7 working days to reflect in the account, depending on the bank or payment gateway. In cases where replacement is preferred, we will arrange for the correct or new product to be delivered as soon as possible.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain products cannot be returned due to safety, hygiene, or custom order reasons. These may include open-box consumables, adhesives, chemicals, paints, cut-to-size pipes, made-to-order materials, rcc products or any item specifically ordered on request. We encourage customers to verify specifications before placing orders to avoid inconvenience.

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch. Once the order has been packed or shipped, cancellation may not be possible, and the order will fall under the return policy instead. In special cases where cancellation is approved after dispatch, transportation or handling charges may be deducted from the refund.

Damaged or Wrong Items Received

If you receive a damaged, wrong, or defective item, please contact us immediately with photos or videos of the product and packaging. This helps us verify the problem quickly and speed up the resolution process. We take full responsibility for such errors and will replace or refund the product promptly.
